Richard Fayerman graduated with honours from the University of Alberta in 1980 with a degree in Business Administration and Commerce. Richard attended law school at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, where he graduated in 1983. Richard articled with one of Edmonton’s leading law firms, following which he was called to the Alberta Bar in 1984. In 1987, Richard was admitted as a member of the British Columbia bar and is a member of both the Alberta and British Columbia bars.
Richard has over 35 years of experience negotiating settlements and as an experienced trial lawyer in all levels of court in British Columbia.
Civic-minded, Richard has been active in political life as a political riding association president and a director of a provincial political riding association; has served as a director of Touchstone Theatre Association in Vancouver; is a former director of an independent school in Richmond; has served as a strata council member on various strata associations throughout the Lower Mainland; and has coached youth hockey. Richard is a passionate equestrian, and has shown on the local hunter-jumper circuit. Richard is married with two children and resides in Richmond.
